Vermiculite (Per L)

A naturally occurring, non-toxic, soft mica mineral. Heated to a temperature which produces a lightweight, sterile, laminated structure.

1. Absorbs nutrients preventing them from being washed out, and then releases them gradually to the plant roots
2. Good water holding capacity
3. Physically assists in aeration and drainage
4. Insulates against fluctuations in surface temperature when used as a seed covering
